The Jet  is quite a bit less pricey and in general does the type of work I’m interested in.  I was glad to find that it was easy to assemble.   The holes were flawlessly aligned, a good thing since I have had to deal with poorly aligned openings with other that had to be put together.  

For the JET 708360’s performance, I’ve been extremely pleased.  It honestly works well and it is very quiet and has zero vibration.  I get a smooth cut and no vibration makes polishing a lot simplier and easier. It also has a really good tail sock, a durable motor, and the belt adjustment is easy to maneuver.  Plus, it has a very useful tool rack where you can keep your other tools.  I’ve been quite pleased with it.

I honestly don’t have any large complaints with it and the shipping was free of charge when I got it from Amazon.   In my opinion, the Jet 708360 was a great deal.  It delivers a a lot of value compared to buying a more expensive unit pretty much  just for bragging rights.
